The Crowell Family
Brittney Crowell of Macon, GA is especially grateful at this special time of year to celebrate her 22-month-old twins long-awaited homecoming. Born in January 2010, Khloee and Karmella were diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
The twins underwent life-saving transplant surgeries in the summer of 2010. In addition to chemotherapy, the more fragile Khloee received radiation.
Helping families since 1979.
Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities provides a home away from home for families of ill and injured children who must travel to receive treatment at Atlanta area hospitals.
Atlanta’s two Ronald McDonald Houses are a beacon of hope for families during the worst crisis of their lives. Families gain emotional support from other families going through similar experiences.
